Device for quality monitoring of semi-finished products in the manufacturing process
The application is a device, which tests the geometrical size accuracy of semi-finished products and stores the measured actual values in a quality database (Q-DAS). The transferred data sets are then used by quality management for statistical analysis. If the measured semi-finished product is alright, a production approval is given the production line. Controlling is carried out via Siemens Simatic S7-315 PN/DP.
Operation procedure:
- Logging in the user via magnetic key card. PLC creates SQL query "employee base". The query result is the employee name, first name and authorisation (operator, fitter, service)
- Selection of the current product via the HMI panel, alternatively via the employee number (the ERP knows which employee is currently producing which product.)
- Loading the actual values and tolerances referring to the current product number.
- Inserting the semi-finished product and approval for use of the device.
- Measurement of actual values and writing the data into a QDAS database (date, time, employee, product number, actual values (mass, ambient temperature, status (o.k./not o.k.), etc.).
- If semi-finished products o.k. then production approval
